MY APPROACH TO

Weddings

I recently got married, and boy do I KNOW how much it means for a photographer to care deeply about the memories they are documenting! I am a firm believer that the best photography comes from a photographer who cares, and so I work hard to always enter a wedding day choosing to care deeply about the day, the people involved, and  all the little details in it as if it were my own wedding.

And while I believe that beautiful photos come from prompts and guidance, the last thing I want is for your wedding to feel like a photoshoot. I want you to be able to be present, and to capture your wedding day in all its authenticity as it plays out. The excited kisses shared right after your ceremony, the tight hug between you and your grandma, a smile from a sibling. My heart lies in preserving these kinds of hidden and treasured moments in an album of photos that will keep the joy and memory of your wedding vividly alive for years to come. I want to create an album you can one day show your grandchildren and recall stories of the day it all began.

So while initially I may just be your photographer, once you hire me I am committed to also becoming your friend. At the end of the day, I truly want you to be able to relax and thoroughly enjoy your wedding day, knowing that your photographer has your back, that she is a friend you can trust, and that your memories are in good hands.
